    Hi  -

We teamed up with Quill to create an article and complementary graphic

on corporate giving. We cover the growth in company-based

philanthropic efforts, benefits of corporate giving, and tips to start

    a corporate philanthropy program.

Considering corporate philanthropic efforts grew 3.9 percent from 2014

to 2015—totaling $18.46 billion—it’s never a bad time to get

    involved.

Let me know if you’re interested in seeing the full article and

I’d be happy to forward it along!

Hello! I was wondering if you knew of any similar networks or associations in the Charlotte Metro or Cabarrus area? Looking to build connections in my community.

    Thanks!

How can I apply to be on a committee? I see you have board applications open, but, I have yet to serve on a committee and would like to get involved.

    Hi,

First, what is the age limit? Second, do folks have to be staff members or can they also be board members or even folks not yet serving with a non profit, for example a student in public administration?

Third – I am a certified, Gallup StrengthsFinder coach and would enjoy offering my services, probably pro bono. I work mainly with nonprofits. Feel free to give me a shout – ncox@achievedurham.org or 919 210-3329. I am the Director of Achievement Academy of Durham, a non profit school, free to our students 16 through adulthood who are earning their GED.

    Hi!

I attended your session at the YNPN National Conference on the Competency Model. It was an incredibly useful session. Thank you for presenting! I signed the sign in sheet and I believe the speakers mentioned that they would be sending out the slides but I never received them. We are discussing implementing your model into our planning for 2018 and want to talk about it at our orientation in September. Would it be possible to have someone email me the presentation? Thanks so much for your help!

    Best,

    Jenna

I came across your charity after searching on ncnonprofits.org

And I was wondering if you would like to partner up?

Basically what we do is make animated videos that are designed to promote your service online and increase your website conversion rate.

So I wanted to offer you a 30 second explainer video for your charity for just $197. (including script/voiceover)

All I ask in return is a quick testimonial if you like the video!

If you are interested in this offer, you can find out more or get started at http://www.30secondexplainervideos.com/explainer-promo

Or you can shoot me a quick email if you had any questions!

    Cheers,

    Travis

Hello, I was planning on attending Friday’s event (Non Profit Strong Summit), but the tickets seem to be sold out. Is it possible to buy one ticket still?

    Hi!

I am a recent college graduate (B.A. Psychology, minor Social Work) who will be relocating to Greensboro this summer. I am trying to break into the nonprofit sector and am looking for openings in the area of Operations, Program, Development/Fundraising. Social Media. Community Outreach, or Events. I don’t have any current connections there, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    To Whom It May Concern,

I am a member of YNPN Triangle and a job developer with CWS-Refugee and Immigration program—assisting professionally skilled refugees in finding appropriate employment in the triangle. I work with clients who have a variety of skills, backgrounds and career interests, and are looking for anyway to get their foot in the door with a great organization or business.
In hopes of finding employment that matches clients interests and skill set, I was wondering if YNPN could send out an email to members, letting them know that if they are looking for great new employees and wanting to welcome newly arrived refugees in their city, they can reach out to me at CWS to learn about our employment services and to potentially hire a great new employee!

    Sincerely,

    Erin Edmiston
