Leadership Strategies for Developing Inspired & Invested Teams

Do you know how to share your vision with your team and create enthusiasm for your projects? Join YNPN Triangle NC in the last professional development event of the year to learn how. Join us for an interactive presentation and rotating round table discussions with young nonprofit leaders across the sector. Bring your own experiences, ideas, and questions and be ready to engage in rich dialogue, resource-sharing, and learning to close out your year.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Parking:

You can park in either the North Parking Deck  or South Parking Deck at the American Tobacco Campus. Both decks should be free after 5pm, unless special event parking is indicated.

  • The South Parking Deck is on Willard Street, closest to the Durham Bulls stadium. From the parking deck, walk straight through the American Tobacco Campus (Tyler's Taproom should be on your left) to Bay 11. A YNPN Triangle NC board member will be there to greet you at the door.
  • The North Parking Deck is off of Pettigrew St, closest to DPAC. From the parking deck, you can enter through the back of the American Tobacco Campus (closest to the parking lot across from the car dealership) at Bay 12. A YNPN Triangle NC board member will also be at this entrance to greet you at the door.
If you have any trouble navigating from the parking deck to the Teach For America office, please contact our Programming Chair, Alexa Broderick at 216.544.7763.

This year, YNPN’s professional development events are all based on our Competency Model. The Competency Model consists of four pillars that reflect the skills we’ve found through research that emerging nonprofit leaders need to be successful: Effective Communication, Personal Management, Leadership Development, and Technical Skills. Each quarter we will host a professional development event that hits each one of these competencies. This month’s event will focus on Leadership Development: Motivating and Supporting Others
