The start of a new year marks new and exciting opportunities to grow as an emerging leader. All four of our volunteer-run committees - Marketing & Communications, Programming, Fundraising and the #NonprofitSTRONG Summit - are currently seeking ambitious, energetic leaders who are passionate about supporting young nonprofit professionals in the Triangle to join us this year!

Volunteering on a YNPN Triangle NC committee presents unique opportunities to:

1. Get connected and network with other emerging leaders in our sector
2. Invest in your own professional development and growth
3. Work in a fun, fast-paced, startup-like environment on meaningful projects and initiatives impacting over 2,000 young leaders across the Triangle

Programming Committee

The Programming Committee is responsible for envisioning, conceptualizing, and executing exemplary events throughout the year that bring emerging nonprofit leaders together for rich opportunities for networking, learning and professional development. We develop compelling event themes, identify dynamic speakers and thought leaders, research and book the best venues, and host events that leave our members feeling inspired and energized about their work. Join us if you are an ambitious, creative,  detail-oriented self-starter with experience or interest in: event planning & coordination, operations, and/or project management.

Marketing & Communications Committee

The Marketing & Communications Committee is a team of committed communicators working to create, curate and publish quality and consistent YNPN-mission messaging. We ensure that branded content fulfills our strategic plan and vision, and promote member engagement through events, programming, networking opportunities, leadership and EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion) awareness. We're looking for creative, flexible folks with a passion for strategic communications to join our team!

#NonprofitStrong Summit Committee

The Summit Committee is a team of passionate strategists who design, plan, and execute our #NonprofitSTRONG Summit, an annual conference that brings together nonprofit professionals from across the region for a full day of networking and professional development. We are looking for self-motivated, driven, organized and creative emerging leaders who are passionate about project and event planning and creating meaningful experiences for others.

Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Team is a team of creative executors who will work towards raising funds, including the development and execution of giving campaigns, identifying and communicating with potential funders, and engaging in grant writing. We are seeking individuals who have experience and/or interest in development & fundraising for a startup-like organization.
