Are you having trouble showing people who you are and what you are capable of through the various digital platforms? Unsure about how you can build your personal brand and show it to the outside world? Have a productive lunch with YNPN Triangle and hear from best-selling author Dr. Nicole Swiner. From doctor to medical mogul, Dr. Swiner (The Superwoman Complex expert) has been in medical practice in Durham now for 10 years. After being thrown into co-owning her own medical practice only two years out of residency, she recognized the early signs of burn-out. To remedy this, she branched out into writing, self-publishing, blogging, brand ambassadorship and consulting others how to do the same. Come hear her story and learn her tricks of the trade.
Food trucks will be available for you to purchase lunch items. You may also bring a bagged lunch along with you. YNPN Triangle will also provide drinks and snacks.
When: Friday, October 13th at 12:00-1:00pm
Where: Triangle Community Foundation [inside The Frontier at RTP]
Parking: There is ample parking in the lot directly outside the building.
This year, YNPN Triangle’s professional development events are all based on our Competency Model. The Competency Model consists of four pillars that reflect the skills we’ve found through research that emerging nonprofit leaders need to be successful: Effective Communication, Personal Management, Leadership Development, and Technical Skills. Each quarter we will host a professional development event that hits each one of these competencies. This month’s event will focus on Personal Management: Personal Branding
