For our 25th Anniversary campaign, we want to acknowledge not only where we hope to take YNPN but also celebrate where we’ve come from. YNPN began in the Bay Area in 1997, starting from a small meetup for young nonprofit professionals to discuss their common experiences in the sector at a local bar. Since then, YNPN chapters have been founded across the nation and now serve more than 50,000 members collectively in 39 cities/municipalities.

Today, we are taking a look at our members and the impact of YNPN in North Carolina. YNPN Triangle NC has nearly 3,000 members and is a go-to organization for nonprofit professionals in our region. Over the past few months, we have held multiple networking and social opportunities to facilitate collaboration and community. Many folks look to the listserv not only for personal opportunities, but to connect with talent and grow their own organization.

Our fundraising campaigns help ensure we can continue to offer programming at no or low cost. Currently, we are offering resource roundtables for skill-building and monthly happy hours to build community. Anyone can attend these programs for free! So, whenever you support YNPN Triangle NC, you’re supporting an even more robust, well-connected community! You can also check out the YNPN National’s website, where you can find a national job board, virtual event calendar, and other great resources.
