Five years ago I did a lot of soul-searching, speaking with managers, colleagues, and friends, all of which set me on the path to where I am now.

I learned what fulfills me most is contributing to the work nonprofits do, leading positive change in our communities. In those five years I’ve gone to grad school, volunteered on numerous committees, been employed with three different area nonprofits, and landed on the YNPN Triangle Board.

Ms. Ensler’s quote represents the thread weaving my last five years together. Action and Truth. And y’all, the truth is, all my action wouldn’t have been successful without the support of my peers, my mentors, and YNPN.

That is why I’m asking you to invest with me in the work YNPN does. Help me support everyone who is me, five years ago. Invest in all the young professionals who want to weave action and truth into our community.
