Administrator Position Description

Below is a description of the responsibilities of the Administrator on the board of directors for YNPN Triangle NC.

Board of Directors (Chair)

Responsibilities:

The Administrator is a member of the Executive Committee and supports the YNPN Triangle NC strategic plan by providing leadership in the area of maintaining general oversight of internal operations and record keeping.

The Administrator will:

  • Manage organizational e-mail, with a maximum response time of 48 business hours
  • Monitor and oversee organizational listserv, reviewing and releasing messages from the system daily
  • Act as primary point of contact for incoming volunteers
  • Provide technical and logistical support for monthly Board Meetings by helping find meeting space, setting up IT needs, tracking questions, and keeping time
  • Take minutes at all Board and Executive Committee meetings
  • Manage collection, review, and distribution of committee reports 
  • Maintain, update, and oversee YNPN Triangle NC Google Drive content, ensuring proper retention of documents as required by law
  • Serve as primary contact for YNPN members and Board members for finding and storing key organizational documents
  • Manage YNPN Triangle NC’s Google Suite ecosystem, issuing new email addresses for incoming Board Members and retiring/securing defunct accounts
  • Maintain, stores, and coordinates disclosure of records of organizational login details 
  • Update the YNPN Triangle NC shared Google Calendar to include upcoming meetings and Programming events
  • Support coordination of additional activities as appropriate

Time Commitment:

15-20 hours per month for two years
