Responsible To:

Board of Directors (Chair) and Senior Marketing and Communications Chair 

Responsibilities:

The Junior Marketing and Communications Chair manages targeted outreach of YNPN Triangle NC. The Junior Chair coordinates with other committees to provide quality, consistent, relevant, and timely information to the YNPN network by overseeing on-brand, mission-driven communications. 

The Junior Marketing and Communications Chair will:

  • Work closely with the Senior Chair to lead tactical communications and outreach activities
  • Promote programming and recruitment events, through various online communications channels
  • Will work with the Senior Chair to delegate tasks to appropriate committee members and oversee their performance evaluations by providing guidance and feedback as necessary
  • Manage Basecamp and ensure all committee members are aware of their responsibilities and assignments
  • Oversee and review YNPN Triangle NC’s website maintenance to keep content accurate, relevant, and timely
  • Manage YNPN Triangle NC swag and print materials such as flyers,  #NonprofitSTRONG Summit materials, business cards, etc. as needed
  • Support the organization through the annual Board Give/Get Campaign via a personal contribution or Peer-to-Peer fundraiser at $100 or more

Skills and Experience:
