Board of Directors (Chair) and Senior Programming Chair 

Responsibilities:

The Junior Programming Chair supports the YNPN Triangle NC’s strategic plan by creating programming that provides professional development and leadership training to young nonprofit professionals in the Triangle and fosters a culture of active engagement and inclusivity. 

The Junior Programming Chair will:

  • Support the Senior Programming Chair in the implementation and alignment of programming events to the overall strategic goals for the year 
  • Support fundraising volunteer activities and events
  • Coordinate with the Senior Programming Chair to execute monthly professional development and networking events based on YNPN Triangle NC’s Competency Model 
  • Delegate tasks to committee members and ensure established guidelines are being met
  • Ensure the programming committee members are adhering to budgetary goals for the current fiscal year 
  • Create and update tools to collect event details from event attendees 
  • Build relationships and partnerships with businesses and local organizations
  • Maintain and create web pages for all programming or volunteer events 
  • Support the organization through the annual Board Give/Get Campaign at a contribution level of $100 or more
  • Attend (if possible) all YNPN Triangle NC events, personally thanking special guests and serving as a spokesperson for the organization
