Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Food Bank's mission. Every day, Food Bank volunteers are making a tangible contribution to our communities. Last year, Food Bank volunteers gave 230,694 hours of their time. This is equivalent to 111 full-time employees -- literally doubling the size of our staff! Volunteers are vital to ensuring nutritious food reaches the more than 600,000 individuals living in food-insecure households each year.
